About Us

Sistainable Mercantile & Refillery is a woman-owned, veteran-owned and family-operated business founded by two sisters. While raising our families, we realized how many products are harmful to both the environment and our health. The amount of single-use plastics that go into landfills every year is staggering and unnecessary. We had been daydreaming for years about how to make an impact when we learned about refill stores popping up around the country. We knew having a high quality, local refillery would make a great resource for families in our Northern Colorado communities. We decided to go into partnership together and take the leap!

How Does a Refill Store or “Refillery” Work?

A refillery can be life changing. Bring in your clean containers, weigh your empty container, fill with our amazing products, then weigh again and pay the per ounce price. It's that easy! You can bring in any size container (within reason) or if you would like, we have some refill containers in various sizes available for purchase as well. Here’s exactly how it works:

How a Refillery Works

  1. Bring in your reusable containers or purchase one from us.*
  2. Weigh your container as-is.
  3. Fill your container with our products.
  4. Weigh your container again.
  5. Pay per ounce for the amount you refilled.
  6. Save up to 20% on your refills when you join our Refill Club!

*We provide a 3% discount for bringing your own containers. Containers need to be thoroughly cleaned and dry if you’re not refilling with the same product currently in the container.

Not all our products require reusable containers. We also carry things like bars of soap, candles, dryer sheets, reusable paper (cotton) towels, etc. Come see us in store for all the goodies!
